So many months since my last post but we are still under the "company" of the pandemic... Fortunately, we are now able to visit tracks and blow some steam off!

The news on the S2000 is that it has been sold and I have turned the page on my track-oriented car. I am now a happy owner of a black M2 Competition! Some will say I am getting older! (well yes, I am!).

Even though I had decided to not modify this car like the S2000, it was obvious (even before purchasing the m2) that some minor mods would be necessary for it to cope with the demands of any track.

The car was delivered to me during the summer of 2021 and I immediately created a short list with the necessary mods. The list of parts (already fitted now) is this (feel free to comment if I have forgotten something you find important!):

- Suspension: Ohlins road and track coil-overs with Millway top mounts

- Exhaust: Active Autowerke equal length midpipe, which deletes the center OPF silencers and brings out the 6-cyl BMW music!!

- Wheels / Tires: Square 265/35/18 semislicks on Apex SM10 18x9.5.

- M235R rear wing replica, to keep the rear stable at high speed turns and braking.

- Floating front brake rotors (oem "blue caliper" size) with Pagid RSL29 pads all around.

- Fixed driver's seat. I chose the Recaro Profi SPG (same like what I had on the S2k), with the Schroth Pro 6 point harness.

More info to come, stay tuned!!
